As an Oceania traditional strong team, there are high standard players in Boomers both inside and outside. The Boomers currently have several

players competing in the NBA, being Andrew Bogut for the Golden State Warriors and Patty Mills for the San Antonio Spurs. Patty Mills had ever

played for the Xinjiang Team of CBA. In addition, there are several players who compete for the EURO-League teams. The Boomers are very

competitive on the whole. In 2011 the Boomers beat New Zealand and qualified for the 2012 London Olympics. 2012 Boris Stankovic Continental

Cup will be the most important event to warm-up before the Olympics. Australian players based around the world will be returning to Australian

from their commitments in the Euroleague and the NBA to achieve this goal.

China national team has dominated the Asia basketball for many years. As the representative of Asian basketball, China senior men’s team

maintains the best record of Asian teams in the Olympic Games and FIBA World Championship since 1978. China team has won the champion of

FIBA Asia Championship for 15 times, and the Asian Games for several times. China team won the champion of 2011 Asia Championship after

beat Jordan team in the final and won the only admission ticket of Asian Zone of London Olympics. Together with Sun Yue, Zhu Fangyu, Wang

Shipeng and other talented players, Veteran Wang Zhizhi and Yi Jianlian will compete in London with a great weight of Chinese people. Let’s eye

俄罗斯队是世界男篮的传统强队，队中有多名球员效力于欧洲篮球的顶级联赛球队。作为欧洲篮球人才培养体系最成熟的国家之一，俄

罗斯(微博)的各级国家队均具备相当强的实力，其出色的国内联赛水平也为国家队输送了大量出色的球员。2009 年，俄罗斯大学生篮球队就获

得了第 25 届世界大学生运动会的亚军，该队中有若干名球员成长并现正效力于多家著名的俄罗斯篮球俱乐部。2011 年代表俄罗斯出战

斯杯的年轻人们曾以出众的实力征服对手和球迷。

Russia National Team is a traditional strong team. There are several players who play for the teams of European top leagues. As one of the most

mature country in cultivation of basketball players, Russian national team of different ages are all high-level teams. The outstanding domestic

league brings up many excellent players for the national team. Russia National team had ever attended the 2011 Boris Stankovic Continental Cup.

Russian Men University Team was Silver Medalist of 25th Universiade 2009. Russia National team had ever attended the 2011 Boris Stankovic

Continental Cup. The younger players leave a favorite impression on the opponents and fans.

非洲 - - 突尼斯国家队

突尼斯近年来篮球水平突飞猛进，2011 年他们终于冲破了安哥拉队对非洲篮球冠军的垄断，夺得非洲锦标赛冠军并将代

表非洲出战 2012 年伦敦奥运会，这也是突尼斯男篮历史上首次参加奥运会。

突尼斯队具备出色的运动能力，但队内没有个人能力极其出众的球星，比赛中主要依靠整体配合。已经 32 岁的 Amine RZIG

相对来说能力比较全面，是球队的场上领袖和灵魂人物。

Africa — Tunisia National Team

Participated in the FIBA World Championship 2010 and ranked 24th

Participated in the FIBA Africa Championship for 19 times, won the championship in 2011

Current FIBA ranking No.32

Tunisia basket achieves a great progress in recent years. Tunisia National Team will attend the 2012 London Olympic Games for beat Angola and

won the 2011 FIBA Africa Championship. This is also the first time for Tunisia team to attend the Olympics. Tunisia team is good at fluent

coordination. 32-year-old Amine RZIG is an all round player and also the leader and soul of the team.
