会徽将凤鸟的翅膀与羽毛球的动态形象相结合，动感十足，赛事特征突出。凤鸟是楚文化的代表之一，将凤鸟的翅膀作为设计对象不但体现了羽毛球运动的特征，更反映了大武汉的人文特点。
The emblem combines the wings of the phoenix and the shuttlecock's moving image, so it's very dynamic, and the characteristics of the event were highlighted. Phoenix is a represent of Chu culture. Regard the wings of Phoenix as the designing target not only reflects the characteristics of the badminton, but also mirrors Wuhan's humanity characteristics.
会徽的形象又像一只竖起的大拇指，像是在为运动健儿们的顽强精神而骄傲，这也正是会徽的名字由来。“飞翔的骄傲”也是对武汉人民能够完美举办此次赛事的祝福。
The image of the emblem also like a thumb up, which resembles taking pride in sports athletes' tenacious spirit, and this is the place where the name of emblem derives from. “The flying pride” also is a blessing of Wuhan people for the perfect host of this event.
会徽色彩鲜明，以天空的蓝色为基调，象征着羽毛球带着运动员的梦想翱翔蓝天。红、黄、蓝、绿自然融合，既彰显现代感，又给人以顽强拼搏，乐于合作的感觉；红色代表了武汉人民的热情与运动员的拼搏精神，绿色代表了公平、低碳；黄色代表活力、动感；蓝色代表每个运动健儿的夺冠梦想。
The colour of the emblem is very distinct and bright. The sky's blue is its fundamental colour, which stand for that the shuttlecock brings the athletes' dream soaring in the sky. Red, yellow, blue, green mixed with each other naturally, not only reveals a sense of modern feeling, but also the feeling of tenacious struggle and delight to cooperate; red represents Wuhan people's enthusiasm and sports athletes' struggle spirit, green stand for fairness and low carbon ; yellow on behalf of dynamic, and a moving feeling; blue represents every sports athlete's dream of seizing the championship.
